Many of us can’t live without our furry best friends, but do you know your rights and responsibilities when it comes to your pets in rentals? The Los Angeles Housing and Community Investment Department (HCIDLA), The Los Angeles Department of Animal Services and the Housing Rights Center are putting on a series of FREE workshops, providing information on pets in rental housing to better educate tenants and landlords on their rights and responsibilities. The workshops will include information related to fair housing accommodations for service and companion animals, as well as information on licensing, spaying and neutering, and micro-chipping.
These workshops are recommended for landlords, anyone contemplating buying or selling rental property in the City of Los Angeles, tenants, banks and lenders, property managers, and realtors. Please be advised that the workshops are designed to be informative on the RSO and related programs, but are not intended to provide legal advice on specific situations.
This workshop is FREE. RSVP online or by calling (213) 928-9075.
Stay informed on you and your furry friends’ rights LA!
Happy Hunting!
