With Thanksgiving around the corner, it’s time for copious amounts of turkey and giving to those in need. Fortunately there’s a charity event that allows you to do both: The 5th Annual 5th Street Turkey Fry-In!
Yes you heard right…MOUTH-WATERING DEEP FRIED TURKEY! 5STF has grown so popular over the years that the event organizers have formed a non-profit organization, establishing a giving relationship with the Westside Food Bank. In 2014 they raised $4000 in contributions!
This year they’re back with a new date (November 14th!), new partners and will be hosting the event on-site at the Westside Food Bank in Santa Monica. As with all years, donations of non-perishable canned and dry goods is highly encouraged. Last year they raised over 800 lbs. of food thanks to attendees’ generosity – let’s see how much more they can raise this year!
Tickets are $30 and include live entertainment, unlimited food and drink (until they run out!), and official 5STF merchandise!
