CO-LIVING | STARCITY

CO-LIVING | STARCITY

Recently The Rental Girl toured Los Angeles’ first Co-Living offering from Star City in Venice Beach.

What is Co-Living?

Co-living is a way of living that gives renters an affordable way to dwell in big cities by sharing living space with other people. Starcity, for example, turns underutilized buildings in San Francisco and LA into well-designed community homes that typically house 10 to 20 people. And it’s way better than you might think.  While terms vary from property to property, often utilities and bi-weekly cleaner is included with your rental fee!  Did I mention they are fully furnished?

This is community living at it’s core, while also being bright, beautiful and incredibly functional.  Their newest location blocks from Venice Beach is tastefully remodeled with charming details throughout.  The layout offers communal nooks and corners dotted throughout the building, with a large rooftop decks, BBQ and incredible views.

Renters have the option of a Studio or a Private Room where they would share a living space and kitchen.  While, a big draw to these communities are low costs which can be 20-30% less than a traditional Studio/Private Room in a comparable area, the real gift of these communities are the communities themselves.  A place where you can come home, create a tribe with your neighbors on your rooftop deck and all while living in the neighborhood of your choice.
